Rural areas not cities get the transportation money
This really makes me resentful of the common perception that cities get the tax dollar goodies when the data says something different. This isn’t right because it’s based upon misdirected formulas and priorities in terms of need, demand and cost to society and taxpayers of an insufficient transportation system in the cities. We have the same mess going on here in Washington. Everyone is in favor of a strong statewide strategy for a quality transportation system, but come on this makes no sense.
